Buon Appetito! 

New Italian restaurant builds on the success of La Carbonara

 

Eating out is popular in Swindon - Chinese, Indian, Brazilian, Japanese, British, Mexican, Portugese, Tex Mex, pub food, al fresco. You name it, you can pretty much find what you fancy here.

 

But Italian, especially, is a real Swindon favourite. Pizza, pasta & a glass of Pinot Grigio has always gone down well in these parts.

 

And for the last six years, it hasn't come much better than at La Carbonara in Westlecott Place, run by head chef Lino & his wife Sue (pictured below with their sons).

 

The food, flavours and warm Italian welcome have made it the number one choice for many of us.

 

Well now, they've built on that success and opened their second restaurant in the town centre - Buon Appetito in Faringdon Road.

"It seemed the natural thing to do," Lino told us. "The premises became available and being close to La Carbonara we felt we could really add to what we offer without losing the personal touch we see as being so important."
